This page describes how the data on DubaiAccountingFirms.com is collected and checked. For who we are, see about.
Tax rules
- We read the law and the guidance on the Federal Tax Authority site (tax.gov.ae), the Ministry of Finance site (mof.gov.ae) and the UAE legislation portal.
- Each rule on a page carries a link to the official source and the date we last checked it, written inside a date tag you can read.
- If the FTA and the Ministry say different things, we show both and say so.
- If we cannot verify a number from an official page, we leave it out.
Free zone approved auditor lists
- We use only the free zone authority's own page or document.
- The page shows the date we read the list and links to the source. We do not edit the list.
- Where a zone publishes no list, the page says that, and says what the zone requires instead.
Fee ranges
- A fee range is shown only when at least two firms publish a price on their own site.
- The range says how many firms it covers and the date. Promotional prices are marked.
- We do not estimate a price when none is published.
Firms
- Name, address, phone, category, Google score and review count come from Google Maps, with the date we read them. We do not copy review text.
- Services come from words on the firm's own homepage. A menu can name more work than a firm does, so our lists say which services a firm names.
- Only firms people search by name get their own profile. Other firms appear in area and service lists.
- Firms that ask to be listed send their licence and we check it. See list your firm. Firms found on Google Maps have not had their licence checked, so ask for it before you hire.
Corrections
If you find a wrong or old fact, send the page and the official source through the contact form. We check and fix it, and update the date.
